Correspondence

At the very heart of esoterism is the idea that there is a dichotomy in life between the seen and the unseen worlds. Different peoples have labeled these two aspects of life in different manners. The "arcane" and the "mundane" are words often used to describe these two realms, wherein arcane refers to that which is deemed difficult to access by most people and "mundane" is that which is far more commonly known. Of course, there is no black and white standard by which experiences are categorized as such. For some, accessing their emotions may be a challenge, while for others putting words to strong feelings is more difficult. The perception of what is arcane and what is mundane varies culturally, though the allure of esoterism might be in finding "universal truths" which are shared by many different cultures.

A person who is seen as capable of accessing these hidden truths may be considered special Online Games in his or her culture. Whether one is considered an artist, a mystic, an alchemist, or a sage, the basic underlying premise is that such a person possesses some unusual ability to perceive what others do not, whether the means is acquired by way of mastery or endowment. Correspondence does not necessarily require a prior expectation of such instances occurring, but is more likely to arise in a person who is open to the possibility and notices it, either consciously or unconsciously.
